ENTREPRENEURS FORUM ~ An interview with QUEENSLY OMOH, CEO QFH (QUEENS FASHION HUB)

I am Omoh Queensly, I’m from Edo state, Etsako East Local Government, I’m a Nigerian and I live in Warri, Delta state. But currently in Lagos state.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I attended Federal government college Warri, a boarding school and then proceeded to University of Benin for my tertiary education.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

I do a lot of things. Lol. I can sell anything and everything. I’m also a certified fish farmer without a farm though, so I do consultations for farmers. I also run an online fashion shop.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU INTO YOUR CURRENT BUSINESS.

Oh business inspiration,  I needed money, I wanted to meet more people and make more friends, but the most important part is that I hate been cheated, if a product goes for 5k normally, why sell for 10k. I really wanted that to end and I had to bridge the gap. I want a situation whereby people buy stuffs from me for a particular amount and if they get that same product elsewhere, the price they got it from me should be way lesser. There’s this joy they get and hey, these customers will keep returning.. apart from pricing I also hate common stuffs so I sell products that are not so common, 80% of my products are not common. So yeah that’s basically the inspiration.

DOES IT IN ANY WAY RELATE TO YOUR EDUCATION?
Nahh it doesn’t relate to my education.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST INSPIRATION
Being around passionate people

WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES YOU ARE FACING?
Challenge right now has to be deliveries. Transport companies are unreliable, dispatch riders too. Both the transport companies and dispatch riders are in thesame WhatsApp group 😁 😂   . As for the reliable delivery companies, their prices are very high; clients don’t want to spend much on delivery. Most times everything is frustrating.

WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST SETBACK YOU EVER EXPERIENCED
No set back. Grateful to God 💙

HOW DID YOU RECOVER FROM IT
Nil

WHAT ARE YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENTS SO FAR?
Establishing my business in different states. Getting foreign clients..

WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL IN BUSINESS

Role model 🤔. I think my mum and a couple of vendors on Instagram. They can sell anything and make you buy whatever they have to sell even if you don’t need it.

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP GOALS

1. I want to blow positively
2. Own as many establishments as possible
3. Create employment
4. Make choze smile always

DO YOU BELIEVE IN GIVING BACK TO THE SOCIETY?
Yes I do

ADVICE TO OTHER ENTREPRENEURS

Do your thing, it’s not always easy. For the good and bad times, keep going. You’ll make it. Also give as much as you can especially to people you know can’t repay you, It works very well, you’ll reap it eventually, it may not be soon but somehow God rewards you.
